No, we are not talking about the virus, but renowned Danish artist Ole Aakjaer’s upcoming solo exhibition at Chase Contemporary in NYC. The exhibition marks the culmination of Aakjaer’s 6-month residency in New York City, and the Danish-American Chamber of Commerce is very excited to invite you to a reception and special viewing of his NYC inspired works on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 6 pm.
Ole Aakjaer will be present at the event, and will share with us his art journey and some of the things that have inspired his work.
Furthermore, Aakjaer has generously donated a large art print that we will raffle among all attendees who sign up. The art print, which measures 157x100 cm, is made in silkscreen in a limited edition of 200 pieces - signed and numbered.
