This interactive seminar by Finish American Chamber of Commerce New York will explore different cultural patterns in communication, building trust, managing conflict and negotiation. The focus is on American, Finnish and Scandinavian cultural patterns; how they differ and the similarities.
At the end of the seminar participants will 1) have a new understanding of how our cultural background influences how we work, relate to each other and communicate, and 2) learn simple and practical strategies for improved work and business relationships.

Katarina Holm DiDio, a Cross-cultural Trainer, and Career Transition Consultant, has over 14 years of experience global HR, cross-cultural training, and international career management.As a Cross-cultural Competence trainer for several major relocation service providers she has trained and coached international managers from companies such as: Swarovski, Schindler, AGCO and Novartis. Her experience also includes working with the United Nations Secretariat, UNDP, UNFPA, the US Dept. of State, and Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.
